RULES FOR USING ATTRACTIONS
Rules for Using Attractions
- All Kooglana attractions are used at the user’s own risk, or, for minors, under the responsibility of the parent/guardian or another supervising adult.
- Users must follow the published rules, safety signs and staff instructions. Staff may refuse or stop the use of a facility for the safety of users, other persons, equipment or the premises.
- Any accident, injury, equipment malfunction or dangerous situation must be reported to Kooglana staff immediately.
General rules for all attractions
- These rules apply to regular visits, birthday parties, group visits, team buildings, celebrations and other organised events at Kooglana.
- All Kooglana attractions and facilities are used at the user’s own risk. For minors, responsibility lies with the parents, guardians or another adult who brings or supervises them.
- Users must follow the published rules, safety signs and instructions given by Kooglana staff. Staff may refuse or stop the use of any facility by a person who does not follow the rules or endangers themselves, other persons, equipment or the premises.
- Each user must assess whether they are medically and physically fit to participate in a particular activity. Persons with injuries, medical restrictions, pregnancy or other special circumstances should consult a doctor and/or staff before using the facilities.
- The use of attractions is prohibited under the influence of alcohol, intoxicants or in any condition that may endanger the user or other persons.
- Kooglana is not liable for injuries or damage caused by improper, careless or unauthorised use of equipment and premises, failure to follow the rules or staff instructions, actions between users, inappropriate clothing or footwear, or for users’ personal belongings.
- These rules do not exclude Kooglana’s liability in cases where liability is prescribed by mandatory legal provisions.
- Any accident, injury, equipment malfunction, spilled liquid or dangerous situation must be reported to Kooglana staff immediately.
Bowling
- Bowling is played at the user’s own risk, or, for minors, under the responsibility of the parent/guardian or supervising adult.
- Only the player whose turn it is may step onto the approach area. Other players must wait outside the approach area.
- Only suitable bowling shoes may be used on the approach area. Walking on the lane beyond the foul line is prohibited because the lane is oiled and there is a risk of falling.
- Bowling balls must be lifted and carried carefully with both hands. It is prohibited to lift balls above the head, throw them towards other persons, pile them on ball returns or put hands into the ball return machine.
- Users should choose a ball of suitable weight and finger-hole size. Staff should be asked for assistance if needed.
- If a ball stops in the gutter, machine or lane, users must not enter the lane or try to repair the equipment themselves, but must call staff.
- Children use bowling under the supervision of a parent/guardian or other adult, except where supervision by animators/staff is provided as part of an organised programme according to the programme rules.
Laser Tag
- Laser Tag is an active game and is used at the user’s own risk, or, for minors, under the responsibility of the parent/guardian or supervising adult.
- Laser Tag is intended for persons who meet the age and height requirements set for the location/programme. For children’s birthday parties, the recommended minimum is 9 years of age and 130 cm in height, unless Kooglana expressly sets different rules for a specific programme.
- During the game, running, crawling, climbing, lying down, moving obstacles or equipment and leaning on obstacles are prohibited.
- Any physical contact with other players is prohibited, including pushing, pulling, hitting, blocking passages or deliberately obstructing others.
- Equipment must be used carefully and only according to staff instructions. Throwing, hitting, dismantling or intentionally damaging vests, sensors, phasers or other equipment is prohibited.
- Food, drinks, glass objects, sharp objects or any items that may endanger safety may not be brought into the arena.
- A person who does not follow the rules may be removed from the game without a refund, unless staff decide otherwise.
Pool tables and arcade games
- Pool tables, arcade games, darts, pinball, air hockey, table football, basketball machines and other machines are used at the user’s own risk.
- Equipment must be used carefully and only for its intended purpose. Rough hitting, shaking, climbing on machines, pushing machines or inserting unsuitable objects is prohibited.
- Food and drinks may not be placed on pool tables, arcade machines or other equipment, unless staff expressly allow otherwise.
- If a game or machine is not working properly, users must not attempt to repair it themselves, but must contact staff or the information desk.
- The user is responsible for damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent damage to equipment.
Birthday parties, groups and organised programmes
- For birthday parties, group visits, team buildings and organised programmes, these general rules apply together with any additional rules of the specific package/programme.
- For minors, the parent/guardian or another adult is responsible for accurate information, availability during the programme and the children’s behaviour, except to the extent that special supervision is provided by Kooglana’s programme.
- The number of users, duration of activities, minimum age/height and order of use may be limited by safety assessment, location capacity or the rules of a specific programme.
- Kooglana may change the order of use or temporarily limit the use of facilities for safety reasons, malfunction, crowding, a special event or another justified reason.
Final note
- By purchasing a service, booking a time slot, entering an attraction area or using any facility, the user confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these rules.
- If the user does not understand any rule or needs assistance, they must contact Kooglana staff before using the facility.
